Young Person and the Sea
A student scientific conference connecting young people with researchers and environmental activists.
Projects
What we do splits into projects in progress or planned, and initiatives already completed. Each with a concrete goal and a concrete result.
In progress and planned
A Baltic lesson programme for schools, developed as a Leadership-in-Action Project with the Laidlaw Foundation, at the Magdalena Abakanowicz Art School in Gdynia.
Now we are scaling it to other schools in Poland and across the Baltic. The materials stay in the school, and the teacher keeps running the lessons.
Learn moreAn international gathering of young people from Baltic countries, looking for ideas for the Baltic together.
We want to bring together young people from different countries, with different talents, around one cause, the Baltic.
Enter the hackathon pageA live-action short film about the Baltic and the generation fighting for it.
We show the sea as a place worth fighting for, not a problem to look away from. The screenplay is ready. Now we are looking for a production company and partners to bring the film from paper to screen.
See the projectA one-month research programme for high school students from around the Baltic.
We pair young people with researchers and research institutions. We give high school students from across the region real research experience and access to the world of science, and give the Baltic the spotlight it deserves. Think of it as an undergraduate research placement, but for school students.
